Mortgage Rates Hold at Record Lows

100 Dollar Bills30-year fixed-rate mortgages averaged a record low of 3.66 percent, holding steady at last week’s average. A year ago at this time, 30-year rates averaged 4.51 percent.

15-year fixed-rate mortgages averaged a record low of 2.94 percent, dropping from last week’s 2.95 percent average. Last year at this time, 15-year rates averaged 3.69 percent.
